Araghchi Engages in Diplomatic Talks with Nicaraguan, Eritrean, and Ugandan Counterparts

New york: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held discussions with his counterparts from Nicaragua, Eritrea, and Uganda in New York on Saturday during the sidelines of the 80th annual meeting of the UN General Assembly.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, in his meeting with the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Ronaldo Moncada, Araghchi highlighted the valuable and important long-standing relations between Iran and Nicaragua. He emphasized Iran’s readiness to bolster relations in all areas of mutual interest. The discussions between Araghchi and Moncada covered various issues, with a particular focus on strengthening bilateral relations.

In another meeting, Araghchi engaged with the Eritrean Foreign Minister, where they reviewed the current state of bilateral relations. They explored opportunities to expand cooperation in fields of mutual interest and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Lastly, Araghchi met with his Ugandan counterpart, continuing his series of bilateral discussions on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
