Azerbaijani Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov announced significant incentives for Saudi investors during a meeting today with Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers Hassan Al-Huwaizi and his accompanying business delegation, who are exploring investment opportunities in Azerbaijan.Sharifov highlighted substantial benefits in the manufacturing sector, including free land grants for investors and guarantees for the smooth entry and exit of funds, due to the stability of the Azerbaijani currency. He also proposed establishing a large regional exhibition to showcase Saudi products in Azerbaijan and surrounding countries.He noted that the proposed joint sovereign investment fund between the two nations would enhance investment in priority sectors on both countries' economic agendas.Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov noted that major Saudi companies, including Aramco, SABIC, ACWA Power, and firms in the tourism sector, are already operating in Azerbaijan, demonstrating the strength and attractiveness of its investment environment.Al-Huwaizi expressed the federation's readiness to support the proposal for a regional exhibition of Saudi products in Azerbaijan, viewing it as a significant boost for the entry of high-quality Saudi goods into regional markets.
