The Attorney General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib, led a delegation to participate in the 29th International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) Conference, which commenced today in Baku, Azerbaijan, and will continue for three days. The delegation includes senior officials from the Public Prosecution and the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority of the Kingdom.The conference, attended by representatives from prosecution bodies around the globe, international organizations, and human rights associations, focuses on tackling transnational crimes, terrorism, human trafficking, and fostering international cooperation in criminal justice. Key topics include enhancing mutual legal assistance, developing extradition procedures, and information sharing.During the event, Sheikh Al-Mujib held a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts of Austria, Croatia, Turkiye, Georgia, Malta, Kenya and Nepal. The delegation also met with a high-level team from Republic of Korea Pub lic Prosecution Office.These discussions are part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to strengthen international criminal justice collaboration, supporting regional and global security while enhancing collective capabilities to address common challenges, particularly cross-border crime.
