Tehran: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has criticized what he described as an attempt to override international judicial rulings through a social media post, saying arrest warrants issued for Israeli officials accused of crimes in Gaza cannot simply be erased.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei expressed his concerns on X, questioning whether the current international order resembles a chaotic environment where individuals can unilaterally impose justice. He emphasized that when a competent international court has investigated the atrocities in Gaza and issued arrest warrants for Israeli officials, such legal decisions cannot be nullified by a mere social media post.

Baqaei's comments were made in response to actions he perceived as attempts to undermine the legitimacy of international judicial rulings concerning crimes committed in Gaza. He stressed the importance of upholding the decisions of international courts and maintaining the integrity of the legal process.
