Tehran: Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei says the true face of the US-Israeli war against Iran can be seen in the bombing of a wedding in Sirik, not in AI-generated videos portraying US officials as triumphant heroes. In a post on his X account on Wednesday, Baqaei said, "The truth of this unlawful war of choice - and the true face of the war crime - is in Sirik, where a wedding ceremony was brutally bombed as part of America's desperate struggle to conceal its failure, not in AI-generated videos portraying American officials as triumphant heroes."

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, quoting Tim O'Brien's book 'The Things They Carried', stressed, "A true war story is never moral. If a story seems moral, do not believe it." A number of Iranian citizens lost their lives in a Tuesday night terror attack by US forces on a wedding in Kohestak, Sirik.

Following this terrorist act by the US military, the Deputy Governor of Hormozgan for Political, Security, and Social Affairs, Ahmad Nafisi, said that the death toll from the US attack had risen to four, including a child.
