IRGC Claims Retaliatory Actions Strengthen Control Over Strait of Hormuz

Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that recent retaliatory actions against U.S. military attacks have further solidified their control over the strategic Strait of Hormuz. This comes in response to what the IRGC describes as a series of desperate, indiscriminate attacks initiated by U.S. forces along Iran's southern coast, including strikes on civilian sites.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC emphasized that these attacks have only intensified their resolve to counter foreign interference in the region. The statement from the IRGC's Public Relations Department highlighted the Iranian nation's resilience and the exhaustion faced by American forces due to persistent resistance efforts. The IRGC claims that its forces have already begun responding to the aggression, notably shooting down an advanced MQ-9 drone, which they say marks the fiftieth such aircraft downed by their advanced aerospace defense system.

The IRGC assured the Iranian public that a comprehensive report detailing the outcomes of their operations would be released, reinforcing their commitment to defending the nation's sovereignty and the strategic waterway.
