Commander Highlights ‘Triangle of Power’ in Iran’s Victory Over US-Israeli Conflicts

Tehran: Iran's Armed Forces, leadership, and populace have formed a formidable 'triangle of power' that enabled the nation to successfully counter plans imposed by its adversaries during two wars led by the United States and Israel, as stated by Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Heidari emphasized the crucial role played by the Iranian people's timely and informed participation in thwarting enemy schemes. He pointed out that Iran's adversaries had relied heavily on a combination of scenarios, hybrid warfare tactics, and domestic agents with the aim of creating unrest, insecurity, and instability within the country.

Heidari further elaborated on the adversaries' 'miscalculation' in underestimating Iran's capabilities and resolve. He noted that the enemies did not anticipate Tehran's ability to extend the battlefield to a regional level during the 40-day conflict. This miscalculation, he argued, was pivotal in Iran's strategic advantage.

Highlighting the strategic significance of the Strait of Hormuz, Heidari remarked on Iran's military prowess in the region, which has allowed the country to significantly influence regional and global economic dynamics. This control, he suggested, underscores Iran's enhanced military capabilities and strategic foresight.
