Tehran: Iranian Navy commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani has issued a stern warning to adversaries, emphasizing that Iran's Armed Forces possess the capability to "ground" enemies wherever necessary. This statement was made during the 12th theoretical training course on the principles of the Sacred Defense at Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Officer University, where Irani congratulated participants on Air Defense Day.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Irani underscored the importance of the students, referring to them as key assets and the infrastructure of the country's power. He highlighted the strategic role of faith and hope in bolstering the morale of the Armed Forces. Addressing military preparedness, Irani emphasized the need for the Armed Forces to stay ready for potential future battles, alluding to the historical defense of Khorramshahr during the Iran-Iraq War.
Irani stated that the primary mission is to thwart enemy objectives and that constant vigilance is maintained over enemy actions. He elaborated on the Navy's operational reach in distant waters, noting that the enemy has been taken by surprise during various missions, which have disrupted the operational capabilities of hostile warships for extended durations.
He further warned that enemies are increasingly concerned about the operational initiatives of Iran's armed forces. Given the progress made, Irani asserted that the Armed Forces could neutralize enemy threats anywhere if required. He praised the Air Defense Officer University students as the "brave sons of the Army" and emphasized the importance of maintaining morale and confidence in divine support.
Irani concluded by stating that firm faith and hope for divine victory are crucial, especially in challenging circumstances, and these values have been consistently emphasized by the martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
