Tehran: The commander-in-chief of the Islamic Republic Guards Corps (I.R.G.C.) has announced that the force is fully prepared to deliver the same level of blows to the enemy. Major-General Mohammad Pakpour made this statement during a recent meeting with Major General Amir Hatami, the chief commander of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pakpour emphasized that Iran’s Armed Forces had successfully thwarted an intense and complex war with the support of the nation. He highlighted the guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the resilience of the Iranian people, which forced the Israelis to reconsider their strategies after experiencing ‘the promised hell’ in the final days of the conflict.
Pakpour stated that Iran would not relent against its enemies and warned that if attacked again, the country would resume the conflict from where it was halted. The commander of the Army also pledged to stand with the I.R.G.C. in defending Iran.
Hatami commented on the threat posed by the Israeli regime, describing it as a danger to the entire region. He warned that if given the opportunity, the Israeli regime could potentially attack other countries.
The conflict began on July 13 when Israel launched an unprovoked attack on Iran, targeting military commanders and nuclear scientists and causing civilian casualties through air raids on residential areas. The war came to a halt on June 24 following a ceasefire request from the Tel Aviv regime after Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes.
