Tehran: Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, has declared that the enemies must exit the region after experiencing disgrace and humiliation at the hands of the Iranian Armed Forces. This bold statement came during a ceremony for Army non-commissioned officers (NCO) on Sunday, as Sayyari commemorated the "Sacred Defense Week."

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sayyari emphasized that the enemy had failed in its objectives during the eight-year Iran-Iraq War and again faced defeat and humiliation in two recent wars. He attributed these triumphs to the path of the martyrs and the leadership of the Islamic Revolution, underscoring the vital role of new Army personnel in safeguarding Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Sayyari extended congratulations to the Iranian nation, particularly the families of martyrs who sacrificed during the conflict against the Iraqi Ba'athist regime. He reiterated that the enemy's attempts to undermine Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity were thwarted due to the unity of the Iranian people.

Lauding the martyrs, Sayyari praised their steadfastness and valor during the eight years of the Sacred Defense and subsequent wars. He emphasized that these brave individuals never bowed to the enemy, instead rubbing their noses in the dust.

Addressing the NCO cadets at their rank-insignia ceremony, Sayyari stressed their mission's foundation on three key pillars: defending Iran's territorial integrity, independence, and preserving the Islamic Republic's sacred system. He urged the young cadets to emulate the past 48 years of successful mission execution since Iran's Islamic Revolution, equipping themselves with knowledge, expertise, skills, faith, piety, courage, initiative, and creativity.

Rear Admiral Sayyari also highlighted the evolving battlefield tactics, necessitating advancements in intelligence, communications, weaponry, and munitions. He stressed the unbreakable bond between the Army and the people, noting that the nation takes pride in supporting all Army and armed forces missions to date.
