Tehran: Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh has confirmed that Iran’s Armed Forces successfully targeted numerous Israeli military sites amidst recent hostilities, utilizing advanced missile technology developed domestically.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a session with parliamentary and defense officials, Nasirzadeh highlighted the exposure of weaknesses within Israeli defense systems, despite their Western support. He emphasized that the recent confrontations demonstrated that Israel’s defense capabilities are not as formidable as perceived.
The session revealed that Iran’s military innovations allowed it to bypass Israeli defenses effectively. Parliament members commended the Armed Forces’ strategic performance and expressed their commitment to further enhancing Iran’s defense technology across multiple domains.
The conflict began with Israeli attacks on Iran on June 13, resulting in over 1,000 casualties during a 12-day offensive. The situation escalated with the United States entering the fray on June 22, targeting three of Iran’s nuclear facilities. Iran’s robust response prompted calls for a ceasefire from the involved aggressors.
