Dushanbe: Iran's Ambassador to Dushanbe, Alireza Haghighian, has emphasized the importance of fostering deeper cooperation between Iranian and Tajik specialized institutions. Haghighian articulated his views during a meeting with Tajikistan's Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Sherali Kabir, highlighting the potential for collaboration between the two nations.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, both parties explored opportunities for expanding partnerships, particularly in the sectors of industry, mining, and new technologies. Kabir, reflecting on his recent visit to Tehran where he toured various technological industries, praised Iran's industrial and technological capabilities. He acknowledged the wide-ranging possibilities for cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan.
Kabir also underscored the significance of increasing joint meetings and organizing specialized exhibitions to bring together business entities and industrial leaders from both countries. He stressed that such initiatives are crucial for advancing their mutual interests and enhancing industrial cooperation.
