Moscow: Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, has emphasized the potential for Iran and Russia to establish a joint ecosystem for the digital future, leveraging their scientific capabilities and innovation records. Jalali highlighted this strategic initiative on his X account, focusing on the necessity of their cooperation in communications and information technology as a response to contemporary security and technological challenges.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the proposed collaboration is set to be discussed at the upcoming fifth joint working group meeting on communications and information technology. Jalali noted that this partnership aims to strengthen technological ties between the two nations, facilitating the entry of Iranian companies into the Russian market to supply equipment and provide technical and engineering services.

Furthermore, the cooperation is expected to expand into areas such as e-commerce, urban environment digitization, and cybersecurity collaboration, marking a significant step towards a comprehensive digital partnership between Iran and Russia.
