Tehran: Mohammad Eslami, vice president and head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, stated on Monday that no pressure could extinguish the movement born of the Iranian people's faith. He made these remarks while attending the funeral procession for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Eslami joined the vast crowds of Iranians at the funeral processions for the martyred Leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, and members of his family who were also killed in a US-Israeli terror attack in late February. Eslami noted that Imam Khamenei had attained his long-held wish of martyrdom and emphasized that the Iranian people must continue to uphold his teachings, which he believes will bring continued honor to Iran and the Islamic Revolution.

Eslami expressed that the Islamic nation, by fully understanding Imam Khamenei's guidance, will persist on the path the martyred Leader charted with faith. He assured that Iran will advance stronger than before. Highlighting the consistent turnout of the Iranian people for such occasions, Eslami mentioned that amid tears and grief, chants demanding retribution for the martyred Leader were heard.

He remarked that the presence of millions at the ceremony symbolized a renewed pledge of allegiance to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and its martyred Leader. Eslami concluded by stating that no outside pressure or war could extinguish this movement, as it derives strength from faith and divine support, and would continue to grow stronger and more widespread over time.
