Iran: Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad says the Islamic Republic of Iran will never succumb to any blackmail and bullying resorted by the enemies, rather will utilize all means to uphold and assert its rights, independence and dignity.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Nikzad addressed a number of issues related to the US-Israeli-imposed war on Iran, including the lack of commitment of the regimes in Washington and Tel Aviv to international law and diplomatic principles. He highlighted Iran's steadfastness in defending its national principles and rights, achieved through sacrifices and resilience of its people.
Nikzad further highlighted the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing its role in maintaining regional power balance and serving as a deterrent against enemy ambitions. He noted Iran's legitimate control and exercise of sovereignty over this critical waterway, rooted in international laws.
In addition, Nikzad praised the Iranian people's support for the nation's leadership and armed forces, viewing their public demonstrations as a testament to Iran's unity and strength. He also lauded the government's efforts to ensure societal welfare and stability during challenging times, acknowledging the cooperative efforts of all governmental branches.
