Tehran: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has expressed gratitude for the important positions of Congo-Brazzaville in international forums supporting Iran. Araghchi met with Constant Serge Bonda, Foreign Minister of Congo-Brazzaville, who traveled to Tehran to participate in the ceremony paying tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on Saturday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the top Iranian diplomat expressed gratitude for the sympathy shown by the government and people of Congo-Brazzaville toward the Islamic Republic of Iran. He also thanked Congo-Brazzaville's significant support for Iran in international forums.

Additionally, Araghchi emphasized the strong commitment of Iran's leadership and president to developing and strengthening relations with African nations. For his part, Serge Bonda highlighted the numerous capacities and opportunities in African countries, including Congo, for expanding relations in various fields and making use of Iran's scientific and technological capabilities.
