Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has met with the head of Thailand's Foreign Policy Advisory Council and special envoy of the Thai King, who delivered messages of condolence and solidarity following the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and a number of Iranian officials and civilians.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Thai envoy, who traveled to Tehran to attend the farewell ceremonies for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, conveyed the condolences of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, government and people of Thailand to the Iranian government and nation.

The Thai special envoy expressed sympathy over the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, whom he described as a respected figure among the Iranian people, as well as the loss of senior officials and civilians during the US-Israeli imposed war.

Araghchi thanked the Thai envoy for participating in the tribute ceremony and expressed appreciation for the messages of sympathy and solidarity conveyed by the Thai monarch, government and people to Iran.
