Tehran: The Foreign Ministry has extended its gratitude to foreign dignitaries who attended the funeral ceremonies for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, acknowledging their participation in the face of 'pressure and threats' as a testament to their alignment 'on the right side of history.'

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the ministry released a statement on Saturday, expressing its appreciation for all foreign guests who participated in the farewell ceremonies held in Tehran. The statement highlighted that their presence was a tribute to 'truth and justice'.

The ministry emphasized that the attendance of high-level delegations from around the globe, along with representatives from various religious and national groups within the region, underscored the prestige of the martyred Leader and the Iranian nation.

Furthermore, the ministry urged Iranians to partake in large numbers in the funeral procession, suggesting that such participation would exemplify the nation's cohesion and strength. The ministry also affirmed Iran's commitment to continuing the martyred Leader's path under the new Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
