As part of his ongoing visit to Moscow, Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration, met with Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. In a statement by Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, he explained that Minister Abdel Aty discussed during the meeting the latest developments related to joint development projects with the Russian side in Egypt, stressing the importance of strengthening investment and trade relations between the two countries in various fields, and working to facilitate increased Egyptian exports to Russia. He also expressed the Egyptian side's aspiration that the next round of the joint committee will witness concrete steps that establish more economic cooperation between the two countries in a way that meets their priorities.
