Foreign Allies Congratulate Iran on Anniversary of Islamic Revolution

Islamabad: Senior officials from Pakistan, India, Belarus, and Russia have extended congratulations to Iran's leadership and people on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, with separate messages underscoring deep ties, resistance to foreign interference, and growing partnerships.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and the country's Foreign Ministry issued separate messages Tuesday congratulating the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, wishing the Iranian people peace, progress, and prosperity. In a message addressed to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the government of Iran, President Zardari extended his warm felicitations on the occasion. Zardari emphasized that Iran and Pakistan share a relationship 'deeply rooted in common history, language, culture, and geography," which has grown "stronger and more vibrant" over the years.

New Delhi: India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar also extended greetings to his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, marking the 47th anniversary of the Revolution. In a post on the social media platform X, Jaishankar shared a photograph with Araghchi and conveyed his congratulations to him, the government, and the people of Iran.

Minsk: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko sent a message to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the Iranian people, congratulating them on the occasion. Lukashenko said, 'Iran has faced many serious trials throughout its history and has emerged from them with honor.' He described the Islamic Revolution as a 'turning point' in Iran's modern history and a 'symbol of national unity, independence, and the pursuit of justice.'

Moscow: Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, sent a congratulatory message to Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament. Matviyenko stated, 'We have always stood with the government and people of Iran, who strive to preserve their independence and national sovereignty.' She condemned foreign interference in Iran's internal affairs and hailed the rapid growth of friendly Russian-Iranian relations within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated President Pezeshkian on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Aliyev extended his congratulations in a message addressed to Pezeshkian, emphasizing the development of relations between the two nations, bound by shared religious and cultural roots and good neighborly ties.

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent separate messages congratulating President Pezeshkian on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, wishing the Iranian government and people continued progress and prosperity. King Salman extended his congratulations in an official message addressed to the president, wishing the Iranian president good health and success, while expressing hopes for further progress and prosperity for the government and people of the Islamic Republic.

Caracas: Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yv¡n Gil Pinto also congratulated his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, on the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. Gil Pinto reaffirmed Venezuela's commitment to brotherhood, solidarity, and cooperation with Iran in pursuit of a multipolar world, the promotion of welfare and social justice, and adherence to principles that guarantee peace among nations.
