Larijani and Qatar’s Prime Minister Engage in Talks on Regional Developments in Doha

Doha: Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani met with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani in Doha to discuss regional developments. The meeting focused on ongoing diplomatic efforts and regional de-escalation.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Qatari prime minister reaffirmed Doha's support for diplomatic solutions during the meeting. A statement released by the Qatari Foreign Ministry highlighted that both parties reviewed efforts to reduce regional tensions and discussed the outcomes of recent negotiations held in Muscat between the United States and Iran.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized Qatar's backing for initiatives aimed at easing tensions and achieving peaceful solutions to ensure regional security and stability. He also stressed the need for cooperation to mitigate the impact of escalating tensions on the region's peoples.

In addition to this meeting, Larijani met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. During their discussions, they addressed regional developments and efforts to reduce escalation and bolster regional security, as noted in a statement.
