Doha: Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in a telephone conversation on April 21, 2025, have discussed bilateral ties and the continued Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during the phone call, the two sides explored avenues for enhancing mutual cooperation and discussed bilateral ties, recent developments in the region, especially in Gaza, nuclear talks, and issues of mutual interest.
