Tehran: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has declared that a new era has begun in which US fighter jets, including the F-35 and F-15, are increasingly being targeted. This statement comes amidst ongoing reports highlighting the challenges and damages the US military is facing, following seven months of conflict with Iran.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ghalibaf made his remarks through a post on X, emphasizing the shift in the battlefield dynamics. He stated that the situation, once considered a mere possibility, has now become a tangible reality for the US military forces. In his message, Ghalibaf addressed the US, stating, "The era when your F-35s and F-15s get hunted down and you have to report them damaged has already begun."
The statements by Ghalibaf coincide with comments from General Dan Caine, the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, who acknowledged the emerging threats faced by American military units. Caine noted the need for the US to adapt to a new battlefield environment where autonomous systems pose a significant threat, and military formations are vulnerable to being tracked and jammed.
