Ghalibaf Utilizes Math Equation as Strategic Weapon Against US

Tehran: In a surprising twist of political maneuvering, Ghalibaf has introduced a math equation as a new strategic weapon against the United States. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, this unique approach was highlighted in an analytical article by Al Jazeera, which presented Ghalibaf's messages on the social media platform X as a notable example of political propaganda and psychological operations. The article revealed that Ghalibaf had unveiled what he termed an unexpected missile via X.

Chris Beauchamp, chief market analyst at IG Group, commented to Al Jazeera, "This is a spectacular bit of agitprop from Iran, a country which, if nothing else in 2026, has demonstrated an impressive ability to needle its US opponent." Ghalibaf's cryptic X message included a complex mathematical formula, the 'Straits Taylor Rule,' which appears to critique US monetary policy and hint at strategic economic vulnerabilities.

The equation reads: i = r* + p* + 1.5(p-p*) + 0.5(y-y*) + a(SOH-SOH*) + Ÿ(BEM-BEM*), with the note that a, Ÿ and gt; 0. Ghalibaf provocatively added, "Let's see if a hike could open SOH or produce a single barrel :)" and further stated, "You can't 25bp a chokepoint and r* isn't neutral. It's SOH risk premium, and We set it. Stay unanchored!"

Last month, Ghalibaf also captured attention by sharing a graphic that transformed Trump's renowned 'Make America Great Again' slogan into 'Make America Hungry Again.' He supported this with data on hunger and food insecurity in the United States, suggesting that the real-world costs of war are borne by the American public and are reflected in prices, markets, and monetary policies. Through these messages, Ghalibaf seeks to underline the tangible impacts of conflict on American society.
