Iran: Iran's deputy foreign minister for legal affairs has asserted that the United States cannot avoid responsibility for what he described as "blatant war crimes" in Iran's cities of Minab and Lamerd. The deputy minister highlighted the atrocities committed during US attacks, which he claims have left indelible marks on history.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran's deputy foreign minister, shared a deeply poignant message on his X account, emphasizing the severity of the incidents. He recounted that in Minab, a school became the site of a horrific massacre, resulting in the deaths of 168 children. In Lamerd, a sports field was transformed into a deadly arena for civilians. Gharibabadi's remarks underscore the widespread recognition of these events as war crimes, not just operational errors.

Gharibabadi further stressed that the United States cannot shirk its accountability by simply withdrawing from the Human Rights Council. His statements indicate a strong stance from Iran regarding the need for acknowledgment and accountability from the US for these alleged war crimes.
