Gulf Cooperation Council Condemns Iranian Attacks on Regional Infrastructure

Manama: The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has issued a strong condemnation of the Iranian regime's recent attacks on infrastructure and civilian facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, declaring these acts as war crimes that require immediate international accountability. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the GCC, criticized the Iranian attacks, which resulted in injuries to several civilian workers in Kuwait. He emphasized that Iran's actions represent a dangerous escalation and a serious violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. These attacks, targeting key infrastructure and civilian facilities, are in blatant violation of international norms, further destabilizing the region's security and stability. Mr. Al-Budaiwi reaffirmed the GCC's solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, supporting all measures taken by these nations to safeguard their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. H e also expressed his wishes for a swift recovery for those injured in Kuwait.
