Tehran: Iran's acting defense minister has announced that the ministry is currently focused on developing new technologies and bolstering deterrence power by harnessing the full potential of the nation's human resources, with a particular emphasis on the contributions of specialized women.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ebn-el-Reza, during a meeting with female staff members of Iran's defense industry on Thursday, lauded the pivotal role women play in achieving the nation's defense objectives. He emphasized that women are critical to advancing Iran's economic, social, scientific, and cultural aspirations.

The acting defense minister also highlighted Iran's defense technology capabilities, particularly in missile and drone technology. He noted that contrary to the enemy's claims and assumptions, Iran's advanced missile and drone systems have posed significant challenges to well-known defense systems such as Patriot, THAAD, and Tomahawk missiles on the battlefield.

Today, young Iranian scientists and engineers are at the forefront of enhancing the country's defense capabilities, contributing significantly to the advancement of Iran's defense industry.
