Muscat: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty have engaged in discussions concerning the ongoing ceasefire between Iran and the United States, along with broader regional developments. The two top diplomats conducted their talks via phone on Sunday, highlighting the significance of maintaining dialogue on issues related to regional stability.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi is presently in Oman as part of a diplomatic tour that earlier took him to Pakistan. Before his departure for Islamabad on Friday, he mentioned on X that the trip is intended to closely coordinate with partners on bilateral matters and consult on regional developments. He emphasized that neighbors remain a priority for Iran.
