Tehran:Iran and Iraq are exploring opportunities to enhance their educational cooperation, as stated by Iran's Education Minister Alireza Kazemi during a meeting with Iraqi Ambassador Yasser Abdul Zahra Al-Hajjaj.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Kazemi highlighted the progress made in collaboration between the two countries in recent years and emphasized the importance of reviewing current capacities to further develop educational activities.
He pointed to the presence of Iranian schools and educational centers in Iraq, specifically in Karbala, Najaf, and Sulaymaniyah, and underscored the necessity of expanding their activities.
Al-Hajjaj expressed Baghdad's readiness to support the expansion of Iranian schools in Iraq and address their needs. He noted the significant potential for increased cooperation and stressed that this should be leveraged to strengthen bilateral relations and collaboration.
