Tehran:Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi of Iran and Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi have engaged in discussions regarding the diplomatic process between Tehran and Washington.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a telephone conversation, Araghchi and Motegi exchanged views on the current regional and international developments, along with topics of mutual interest.

Araghchi provided an update on the diplomatic initiatives involving the United States, sharing Iran's perspectives on the ongoing processes. Meanwhile, Motegi communicated Japan's stance on regional and international issues, as well as shared concerns.
