Moscow:In a meeting at the Iranian Embassy in Moscow, the CEO of the Caspian Oil Company and the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia discussed opportunities for cooperation in oil exploration in the southern Caspian Sea.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohammad Hossein Daneshfar, CEO of the Caspian Oil Company, met with Kazem Jalali, Iran's ambassador to Russia, to explore the potential for expanding exploration activities and developing hydrocarbon structures in the region. The meeting aimed to assess existing capacities and opportunities and to strategize on expanding exploration activities and establishing offshore infrastructure in the Caspian Sea.

Daneshfar, who was in Russia for an international conference in St. Petersburg on shipbuilding and offshore oil and gas equipment, reported on the measures, activities, and plans for oil and gas development in the Caspian region. The discussion also focused on leveraging the strategic capabilities of the Caspian Sea and the potential involvement of Russian companies in this vital energy area. This meeting was part of efforts to expand Iran's oil and gas industry activities in the southern Caspian Sea.
