Moscow: Nikolay Spassky, the Deputy Director General for International Relations at Russia's Rosatom, has met with Kazem Jalali, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia, to discuss bilateral nuclear cooperation.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, According to Iranian Embassy in Russia, both sides highlighted the strategic and enduring relations between the two countries. They further exchanged views on scientific, technical, and technological cooperation between the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and Russia's Rosatom, with a particular focus on joint projects at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.

During the meeting, both parties described the ongoing, successful cooperation between Rosatom and the AEOI in the field of peaceful nuclear energy as an efficient model of dynamic collaboration aimed at promoting sustainable development and utilizing existing potential to protect the environment and ensure energy security.
