Tehran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that Iran and Turkey have reached an agreement on a range of regional issues, including the situation in Syria. In an interview with Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed newspaper, Araghchi emphasized the importance of dialogue in resolving differences between the two nations.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi explained that Iran and Turkey engage in discussions on two types of situations: those where there is consensus and cooperation, and those where differences exist. In cases of disagreement, both countries aim to resolve issues through dialogue or, at the very least, reach a mutual understanding to prevent any misunderstandings. Araghchi highlighted the importance of continuing communication with other influential countries that have legitimate and shared interests, such as concerns over nationals involved with Takfiri groups.
Araghchi further stressed the need for a unified perspective within the Islamic world, particularly on issues like terr
orism and addressing the challenges posed by the Zionist regime. He identified this regime as a core source of regional crises, underscoring the urgency for concerted action and understanding among Islamic nations.
