Hanoi:Iran's ambassador to Vietnam and the head of Vietnam Television have discussed plans for expanding cooperation between the radio and television sectors of their respective countries.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Akbar Ghasemi, the Iranian ambassador, expressed Iran's readiness to enhance media exchanges with Vietnam. This includes collaboration in technical expertise, documentary production, educational partnerships, overseas media activities, and the exchange of news, films, and series.

Nguyen Thanh Lam, the head of Vietnam Television, also emphasized the importance of expanding audiovisual media cooperation with Iran. He expressed optimism that regular meetings between working groups and senior managers could open up new areas of collaboration.
