Tehran: Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei states that opposition to the Zionist regime's occupation remains a principled policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during his weekly press briefing on Monday, Baqaei emphasized that resisting the Zionist regime's occupation is a core aspect of Iran's policy. This policy is rooted in the country's commitment to ethical values and adherence to international law.

Baqaei highlighted that opposing the Zionist regime's presence in Syria is a unified stance among all Islamic nations. He reiterated that Iran's principled positions are unwavering, irrespective of the governing bodies or factions within Islamic countries.

The spokesperson further stated that Iran consistently aligns its actions with regional and Islamic interests. The nation has repeatedly condemned the continued occupation and the regime's ongoing aggressions against Syria, affirming that Iran is resolute in its pursuit of this policy.
