Tehran: Iran's Foreign Ministry on Monday condemned US attacks on Larak Island, asserting that the subsequent strikes on US bases were "in accordance with the inherent right of legitimate defense." Iran announced that its forces targeted US military installations in both Jordan and the United Arab Emirates as a response to the attacks.

According to Deutsche Welle, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that the US bases in Jordan were implicated in the strikes on Larak Island, which resulted in casualties among Iranian armed forces members and civilians. In a separate statement aired on Iranian state media, Iran's Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for damaging two US air bases in Jordan using ballistic missiles.

Further reports from Iranian state television, citing Iran's army, indicated that US forces and helicopters were also targeted using drones at the Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates. As of now, the US military has not issued any comments regarding these reports of Iranian retaliatory actions.
