Tehran: Iran's Minister of Interior Eskandar Momeni has described the meetings of Pakistani officials with Iran's president and other authorities as positive. Momeni noted that the meetings of Pakistani officials with senior Iranian officials were held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere. He added that both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Pakistan's army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi left Tehran late on Monday after holding meetings with senior Iranian officials.
