Tashkent: Deputy head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran, Hossein Pir-Moazen, has led a specialized delegation to Tashkent.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the trade delegation comprises chamber heads from across Iran, heads of specialized commissions of the Iran Chamber, heads of economic organizations, food industry activists, and representatives from the agriculture sector and related industries. The purpose of their visit to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is to enhance economic and agricultural collaboration between the two nations.

During the visit, the delegation accompanies Gholamreza Nouri Qezeljeh, the Minister of Agriculture Jihad. An Iran-Uzbekistan economic-agricultural conference is scheduled, where the agriculture ministers of both countries, along with Pir-Moazen, will deliver speeches.

The event will feature face-to-face meetings between economic activists from Uzbekistan and the Iranian delegation. Furthermore, a memorandum of understanding between the chambers of commerce of Iran and Uzbekistan is set to be signed, marking a significant step towards strengthening bilateral trade relations.
