Tehran: Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baqaei, has condemned the recent airstrikes conducted by the Israeli regime on northern Lebanon, asserting the attacks resulted in the death and injury of 24 individuals, including Lebanese citizens and Syrian refugees.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei criticized the intensifying Israeli aggression, calling it a violation of Lebanon’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty. He described the inaction of the U.N. Security Council as shameful and unjustifiable, emphasizing the accountability of guarantor sides, particularly the United States, in the continuation of these actions.

Baqaei also denounced the role of the United States in supporting Israel through biased initiatives that undermine Lebanon’s unity and well-being. He highlighted the importance of resisting foreign aggression, calling it a fundamental right necessary for safeguarding national dignity and identity.
