Tehran: Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei congratulated the successful holding of elections in Bolivia, which resulted in the election of Rodrigo Paz as that country's president.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, while wishing success for the new government, Baghaei emphasized the continuation of friendly relations and deepening ties based on mutual respect and common interests between the two countries, especially in the fields of science, health, and culture.
