Moscow:Acting Oil Minister Hamid Bovard of Iran has criticized the United States for its military interventions and unilateral sanctions, which he claims have negatively impacted global energy markets. Speaking at the 28th Ministerial Meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Moscow, Bovard highlighted the need for strategic cooperation within the gas industry to address these challenges.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Bovard underscored that global energy security is closely tied to respect for national sovereignty, peace, and regional stability. He emphasized the importance of the GECF as a platform for dialogue and collective action, especially in light of the complex geopolitical and economic challenges currently facing the global energy system.
