Mashhad: Deputy Parliament Speaker Ali Nikzad says the recent war failed to weaken or divide Iran; instead, it strengthened national unity and preserved the country's defense and strategic capabilities. Speaking at a meeting of senior managers of the State Welfare Organization of Iran in Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan Province, the legislator said the United States had entered the conflict believing it could end the war quickly and at low cost, even within 72 hours.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Nikzad stated that adversaries sought to destroy Iran's nuclear capabilities, naval forces, and other strategic assets while creating conditions for political change and control over the country's oil resources. He emphasized that attempts to create social divisions through infiltration also failed, arguing that public solidarity strengthened the country's resistance. He asserted that Iran was not fragmented but became more united, while its oil exports, naval forces, and air capabilities remained intact and, in some areas, grew stronger.

He also stressed the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz and added that adversaries had failed to remove Iran's enriched uranium from the country. Nikzad mentioned that the Islamic Republic had warned regional neighbors against allowing their territory to be used for attacks on Iran.

Nikzad praised Imam Khomeini's leadership legacy, citing faith, courage, reliance on God, decisiveness, and belief in national capabilities. Furthermore, he honored the country's martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khemenei for his political wisdom and steadfast commitment to disadvantaged groups and national interests.
