Tehran: The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (A.E.O.I.) has reiterated Iran's expectation that the International Atomic Energy Agency (I.A.E.A.) maintain impartiality and professionalism. This statement was made during a joint press conference with the I.A.E.A. chief, Rafael Grossi.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mohammad Eslami announced that deputy officials from both the I.A.E.A. and the A.E.O.I. will engage in discussions in the coming days to address outstanding issues and explore avenues for cooperation. Eslami emphasized the importance of the I.A.E.A.'s adherence to impartiality in its activities.

During his talks with Grossi, Eslami stressed that language and terminology should be used carefully to avoid potential exploitation by Iran's adversaries. Eslami noted that Grossi agreed with this perspective.

Grossi's visit to Tehran, which included meetings with Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Eslami, concluded with his departure for Vienna on Thursday.
