Iran Faces Full-Scale War While Engaging in Talks

Tehran:Iran is experiencing a full-scale war but will continue negotiations while defending the rights and interests of its people from a position of strength, President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Wednesday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a cabinet meeting, Pezeshkian expressed gratitude to managers and workers in the industrial and production sectors. He acknowledged their contributions to rapidly restoring complex facilities in industries such as oil, energy, and others.

Pezeshkian also commended the Central Bank, Economy Ministry, Planning and Budget Organization, and the ministries responsible for agriculture, industry, energy, and oil for their efforts in managing conditions and countering pressures. He emphasized that livelihoods, employment, and production should remain top priorities for all government ministers and officials.

He highlighted the importance of preventing disruptions to production, including power and energy cuts, to ensure that the country's production capabilities remain intact. Pezeshkian called for stronger multilateral engagement with neighboring countries to meet some of Iran's needs while emphasizing that domestic capabilities, national solidarity, and cooperation are the main strategies for moving forward.
