Tehran: The chair of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament has reiterated that any attack on Iran incurs consequences, emphasizing that the nation will not leave any measures taken against it without a response. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ebrahim Azizi stated on X, formerly known as Twitter, that "any attack on Iran always comes with a cost, and that remains true today; the U.S. and Israel are well aware of this." Azizi also hinted at recent tensions with Ukraine, suggesting that the country "may soon come to understand that Iran does not let actions go unanswered." He further remarked on the growing list of nations that have allegedly miscalculated Iran's responses. This follows an earlier statement from Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who accused Ukraine of attacking an Iranian commercial vessel, resulting in the death of a sailor. Araghchi claimed the attack was a blatant violation of the UN charter, driven by Israeli interests to involve Europe in its conflict. Araghchi also revealed his engagement with EU High Representative Kallas and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, stressing that the actions of Ukraine's leadership would not be left without a response.
