Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that Iran maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing its shift from a reactive posture to a more strategic initiative in both war and diplomacy.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC Intelligence Organization stated that the 'unity of the battlefield, streets, diplomacy, and public service' has led to 200 days of resistance against plans by the US and Israel. The organization highlighted that US intelligence assessments indicate Iran has moved beyond mere survival, bolstered its resilience and asymmetric capabilities, and maintained control over the Strait of Hormuz, while also increasing its strategic initiative.

The IRGC pointed out that the enemy has acknowledged the failure of its 'regime change through military strikes' strategy. Instead, they are now employing a mix of limited attacks, crisis activation, psychological warfare, financial destabilization, and security operations. This strategy is reportedly aimed at shifting Iran from 'resistance to subordination' and weakening its defense capabilities.

The statement further revealed that a Mossad project intended to exert pressure from within Iran has been identified. Over the past 60 days, efforts to use cognitive and intelligence warfare to undermine the Strait of Hormuz's role and incite social divisions have been noted. The IRGC Intelligence Organization claims these measures aim to 'disrupt stability and weaken the national resilience of Iranians.'

The organization also mentioned that internal developments in the United States, such as the dismissal of military and political figures, declining support for President Donald Trump, and military constraints, have reduced Washington's capacity to execute its plans against Iran. The IRGC emphasized its priorities, including maintaining military readiness, countering actions that threaten public calm, preventing hostile intelligence operations, and confronting terrorist networks.
