Tehran: Iran is managing continuous cyberattacks by its enemies amid the country's wartime conditions, says Minister of Information and Communications Technology Sattar Hashemi. 'While the country is facing wartime conditions, we are witnessing cyberattacks by the enemy, but our colleagues are working around the clock to counter the cyberattacks, and our young people and elites have managed these attacks well and securely,' Hashemi said Sunday.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Hashemi added that the complexity of the attacks varies over time, but Iran's experience in repelling cyberattacks in recent decades has prevented disruptions to services and thwarted the enemy's objectives.

The remarks come amid US escalations against Iran in the wake of a 40-day war that Washington and Tel Aviv waged against Iran on February 28, which prompted Iran to take control of the Strait of Hormuz.
