Tehran: Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari has announced that Iran manufactures over 90% of its own defense equipment. Sayyari, the deputy commander of the Iranian Army for coordination, emphasized that the Iranian Armed Forces are fully capable of meeting all defensive needs independently.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sayyari stated that Iran no longer relies on foreign countries for defense equipment. He highlighted the self-reliance of Iran's military, particularly in the production of various combat and defense weapons across the four forces of the Army. Iran's Ground Force is responsible for producing all types of weapons, while the Air Defense Force manufactures various radars and defense systems. The Air Force is engaged in producing multiple types of aircraft, and the Navy focuses on rocket launchers, destroyers, and submarines.

Sayyari further pointed out that Iran has access to advanced technologies, allowing the country to build a wide range of drones and cyber systems. He stressed that this self-sufficiency prevents foreign countries from exploiting Iran's need for weapons and weapon parts.
