Iran Navy Turns the Sea into Power Zone: Admiral Sayyari

Tehran: Deputy Chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari has emphasized the Navy’s capability to transform the sea from a potential zone of threat to a symbol of dignity and power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. ‘Undoubtedly, the Army’s Naval Force, blessed by the blood of martyrs and the dedication of its faithful and insightful commanders and personnel, stands as a pinnacle of defensive power, strategic depth, maritime honor, and intelligent deterrence on the international stage,’ Sayyari said in a message on the occasion of National Navy Day marked on November 28.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sayyari stated that the Army’s Naval Force has relied on indigenous knowledge, advanced technology, innovative tactics, and a spirit of valor to transform the sea from a theater of threat into a field of dignity and strength. The Navy has solidified its role as a strategic force capable of redefining power dynamics in international waters.

The commander highlighted the recent deployment of Naval Group 86, demonstrating Iran’s capability to operate confidently across the world’s oceans. Further in his message, Sayyari also hailed the Navy’s continuous growth, attributing its success to the sacrifices of martyrs and the unwavering commitment of its personnel.

Sayyari extended heartfelt congratulations to all naval forces and their families, acknowledging their resilience and dedication.
