Iran Oil Show 2025 Commences with Global Participation


Tehran: The 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition has officially started in Tehran, marking a significant event in the global energy calendar. President Masoud Pezeshkian was present at the opening ceremony, underscoring Iran’s ongoing commitment to the global energy market.



According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the exhibition saw participation from President Pezeshkian and Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, alongside foreign dignitaries. This gathering highlights Iran’s strategic efforts to attract international investment, with a target to inject $10 billion into oil projects by April 2026, as stated by Minister Paknejad.



The Iran Oil Show 2025 is a platform for over 2,000 domestic and international companies to present advancements and explore investment opportunities. This year, the exhibition hosts approximately 150 foreign firms and representatives from 14 countries, reinforcing Iran’s pivotal role in the global energy market and its expanding potential in strategic oil sectors.



Spanning 40,000 square meters and covering 37 sectors, the exhibition concentrates on energy policies, sustainability, and regional cooperation. This focus is aligned with the slogan for the calendar year 1404, ‘Year of Investment for Production’. The event, with the guiding motto ‘Investment in the Oil Industry Ensures Economic Growth and Development’, is scheduled to run in Tehran from May 8-11, 2025.
